When you rent Soaring Hawk you get the entire property
Our Housekeeper will have everything ready for you when you arrive. You will provided with all the check in/out information prior to arrival.
Soaring Hawk is located about 3 miles from the quaint German town of Helen Georgia close to the top of Yonah Mountain in the heart of the Georgia Wine Country. Helen has great bars and restaurants etc. The area has some of the best Hiking in the North Georgia Mountains, it's only a 10-minuet hike to the trailhead from right outside the cabin. If you like wine, there are some wonderful Wineries that offer Tours on a daily basis, in the area.
You will need a car when visiting Soaring Hawk, the cabin has parking for about 5 cars
Soaring Hawk has a fantastic entertainment deck with a ready to go sunken Hot Tub and outdoor fire-pit on the deck (Solo Stove, smokeless) that will be ready for you when you arrive. The views from the deck are some of the best views in the North Georgia Mountains.
Please Note:
Rates are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed by the host. Rates are based on 2 people, additional guests are $25.00 per person per night, to cover the cost of hosting a larger group, as it costs a lot more to host 4/6/8 people than it does to host 2, due to the need to have additional linens, towels etc, also additional utilities, and the general wear and tear with a larger group, the more cars that visit, the more wear and tear on our roadways due to the additional traffic, the list goes on. Our cabins are priced this way, to make them affordable if only 2 guests wish to stay which happens regularly. This cabin can sleep up to 8 people (6 comfortably), in the 3 bedrooms. There are 2 additional rollaway beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room and also a futon bed located in a separate area of the loft bedroom, suitable for additional children. If your children are under 12 years old, please do not add them to you guest count as they would be free of charge.
Please also ask to confirm the price that you were given by the automated system, as Holiday rates apply over Christmas, NewYear, Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day, Weekend and July 4th Weekends and during OctoberFest in Helen. There is a 4-night minimum stay required over Thanksgiving and Christmas, there is a 3-night minimum stay required for NewYear, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day Weekends.
Pet Policy:
Dogs are fine as long as their flea and tick prevention is up to date, there is a $75.00 “non-refundable” pet fee required. The deck is fenced and gated so dogs can run around outside, there is a 2-dog maximum (no cats under any circumstances). Please ask to review our pet policy if you are bringing a dog. We hope you visit this amazing log cabin soon.
Soaring Hawk Contract:
Soaring Hawk is located at 64 Soaring Hawk Trail, Cleveland Georgia (approx 3 Miles from Helen) close to Sautee Junction (Indian Mound) in the Historic Nachoochee Valley.

1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 3 P.M. EST AND CHECK OUT IS 11 A.M. EST. NO Early Check-ins.
2. These are NON - SMOKING/Vaping cabins (Smoking OUTSIDE ONLY).
3. Pets are permitted in rental cabins only with prior approval a $75.00 per pet fee applies (no cats). Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up of any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. The decks are fenced and gated, which helps keep dogs from wandering off into the woods without their owners. If the pet is not mature and tends to fret when left alone in a strange house, the pet must be taken with you when you leave the cabin, or if left behind it must be crated, so it doesn't damage anything in the house. If you are bringing a dog, please ask to review our ‘Pet Policy” and agree to it.
4. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 21 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
5. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A $200.00 refundable damage deposit is required. This cabin can be reserved with a reservation deposit and can be paid for in up to 3 installments.
6. The refundable damage deposit, is secured on your credit card and is only taken if damage is reported after you leave.
a. No damage is done to cabin or its contents, including by pets, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets etc.
c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers and secured with Bunge Cords outside the buildings, also please make sure that the decks are secured with the gates to deter animals from entering on to the deck, due to the problem with Critters in the Mountains.
NOTE: Soiled dishes are to be placed in the dishwasher with detergent and turned on.
d. All doors and windows are locked and secured.
e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
f. No linens are lost or damaged. g. NO Early check-in or late check out. 6. PAYMENT – Payment in full is required 30 days before arrival. Soaring Hawk can be reserved with a booking deposit and the balance paid in up to 2 additional payments.
7. CANCELLATIONS – A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty and a full refund will be offered. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.
8. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel 90 days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days
